Brian
Gentles is a Mortgage Associate licensed by the Real Estate Council
of Alberta (RECA). He is an active member of the Alberta Mortgage
Brokers Association (AMBA) and the Canadian Associate of Accredited
Mortgage Professionals (CAAMP).
Brian
is one of the initial group of Canadian Mortgage Associates to
be granted the designation Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP).
This certification is a recent evolution in the mortgage industry
with a goal of further enhancing the level of professionalism
and consumer confidence in the industry.
To
be granted this designation, a Mortgage Associate must have successfully
completed a qualifying examination, a course and examination on
Ethics, have a minimum number of years experience in the mortgage
industry and must commit to both a Standard of Ethical Practice
and continuing education.
This designation
is granted by the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals.
The AMP designation sets a single national proficiency standard
for Canada 's mortgage professionals. CAAMP has over 11,500 members
from across Canada ; representing over 90% of Canada 's mortgage
activity.
Trends
A
mortgage that matures on November 1, 2012, coincident with a US
Presidential election. Even Canadian mortgage interest rates
are historically low in the US Presidential election years.
